Meet the Founder
Rev. Olivia Carey
Reverend Olivia Carey is a Bible teacher, speaker, and founder of Well Woman Ministries. Through the expository teaching of the Word of God to women, her calling is to see hurting and hungry women successfully walk through the pain of life’s circumstances into everything God has intended for them. Reverend Olivia Carey attended Liberty University to study Psychology, with a focus in Christian Counseling, and graduated from the University of Miami, with a master’s degree in Business Administration. In 2001, after 18 years in corporate America, Olivia took a leap of faith resigning from an executive position to pursue her dream of becoming an entrepreneur. That decision resulted in a thriving event planning and catering business, MACO Inc. In 2006, she again leapt, accepting the Lord’s call into full-time ministry, where she has served as the Director of Youth and Children’s ministry, Intercessory Prayer leader, Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor, and Business Administrator. She currently serves as the Executive Pastor at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church and a board member of its CDC, Sweet Home Community Builders, Inc. Throughout her adult life, Olivia has been committed and passionate about volunteerism, serving as a Guardian Ad Litem, prison teacher and mentor, and Board member of the Amani Sasa Refugee organization. In 2019, fueled by a vision God gave to them, Pastor O, along with her husband launched the Healing Hands Ministry, which over the years has evolved into Well Woman. With her own unique God-given speaking style, Pastor O teaches the uncompromised Word of God in a relevant, creative, and thought-provoking manner. Married to her best friend, McDonald, they are the parents of two beautiful young women of God, daughters, Sheyna and Jasmine, and are grandparents to six precious grandchildren.
