Testimonials

What clients say about us.

Transferring from another church, I joined Sweet Home Church in Miami. During a seven year span I observed, admired and respected Rev. Carey. Through her humble, Spirit-filled leadership skills, conference strategies and sermon messages, this woman of God has often times impacted the lives of people in a variety of positive ways. On a personal level, several times when I’ve had to reach out to her for advice on challenging issues, Rev. Carey has advised, strengthened and directed me through sound, Spirit-led counsel. I testify that Rev. Carey knows the word to calm a soul in distress, but she also flows with Godly wisdom for spiritual mentoring. On the basis of my knowledge and observations, I confidently recommend her to anyone who wishes to partner with her ministry.

In the 2nd Edition of the Oxford English Dictionary, there are approximately 600,000 words identified and defined by mankind. When I think of Rev. Olivia Carey, I realize she cannot be described by man’s terms alone. The anointing that she possesses is a gift that has been given to her by the Holy Spirit. She is sensitive to the move of the Spirit; she knows when to be quiet; she knows when to speak what has been revealed; and she knows when to just pray. Her anointing is truly led by the Spirit of God. That is why her gifts can not truly be defined by man, all we can do is admire the gifts at work while she deals with any situation that comes her way. She is truly a woman after God’s own heart.

The woman I know Rev. Carey to be: one who helped install shutters on the home of a senior member of the church; the one who helped prepare the church for an upcoming hurricane, just hours before its arrival; the woman to helped to clean up fallen trees from the backyard of a member, even though she was the only woman working with four other men; the one who encouraged and assisted many in receiving the Covid 19 vaccine, during the time when only 3% of people in South Florida were willing to receive it. This woman of God doesn’t mind getting on her knees to praise our God, preach relatable messages and be the first one to say “thank you” when she should be thanked for her service. I consider her an amazing minister of God’s gospel, doing His work that others wouldn’t do.
